May God bless the infants, who with their radical and unashamed dependence teach us to rely on God
May God bless the children, who with their innocence and their incessant questions teach us to see life again for the first time.
May God bless the teenagers who with their rebellion and angst teach us to question the status quo.
May God bless the adults, who with their successes and failures teach us to take responsibility for ourselves and each other.
May God bless the elders, who with their wisdom and their decline teach us to value each moment.
And may God bless the families, the ones we’re born into and the ones we build for ourselves, that they might unite us in our differences, challenge us in our complacency, and support and encourage us in times of trial.
